Tuscany
Maremma, Chianti and Bolgheri are three gems of the Italian winemaking landscape, which Banfi interprets to perfection. Maremma, in south-west Tuscany, offers high-quality wines thanks to its varied environment and mild climate. Chianti, the Tuscan wine-making heartland, is famous for Sangiovese wine, characterised by balance, elegance and fruity notes. Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, is known for its "Supertuscans", structured red wines that combine Bordeaux grapes with the local terroir, uniting elegance and power.
The designations of Tuscany
