    THE 2025 VINTAGE

A wine that expresses an essential, modern Tuscany. Stilnovo is a fresh, smooth red, designed for immediate enjoyment.

Following a winter marked by weather conditions in line with seasonal norms, bud break occurred at the usual time for our area. A rainy early spring encouraged vigorous shoot growth and endowed the soils with ample water reserves. June was dry, with temperatures soaring well above average in its final days. July, by contrast, was dry and notably cooler than average, conditions that enhanced photosynthetic activity, advanced veraison, and allowed for excellent anthocyanin accumulation in the grape skins. August proved torrid, with heat spikes that, thanks to good ventilation, caused no damage. From the final days of August and throughout September, significant rainfall—alternating with dry, sunny days—protected the grapes from the risk of over-ripening.

    TASTING NOTES

The wine shows a vivid red hue with violet highlights. The nose is intense, marked by pronounced notes of cherry, blueberry, and raspberry. On the palate, it is smooth and supple, with finely integrated, barely perceptible tannins. A savory, persistent finish brings balance, making this wine a versatile companion for any occasion.

A new way to define the wine. An ancient technique that creates a dynamic and fresh wine characterized by a unique style.

The winter was mild, with temperatures slightly above seasonal averages. The first few days of April were characterised by cold spells causing some damage to budding, which only marginally affected the Sangiovese and spared the Cabernet Sauvignon. Rainfall for the first four months of the year was slightly below the statistical data of recent years. In the months of May and June, precipitation was extremely abundant, reaching two hundred millimetres of cumulative rainfall and twenty-eight rainy days out of sixty. Once the early summer months had passed, providentially, the weather pattern underwent a radical change with excellent sunshine and high temperatures. The month of September was characterised by above-average temperatures and abundant northerly winds with an almost total absence of rain.

    THE 2022 VINTAGE

A new way to define the wine. An ancient technique that creates a dynamic and fresh wine characterized by a unique style.

The growing season started in the usual time after a winter period typical of our areas with minimum temperatures below zero during the first three months of the year. Sprouting occurred a few days earlier than the standards of the area. Spring was characterized by dry weather with temperatures several degrees above the seasonal average, especially in May. Summer was marked by a lack of rainfall and torrid temperatures. In the red varieties, thanks to the rains in late August and early September, there was no dehydration of the grapes, and the good temperature fluctuations favored a nice aromatic and acidic synthesis. Harvesting of the red varieties began in early September, Sangiovese about two weeks later, concluding in mid-October with the late varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon.
