    THE 2025 VINTAGE

After a winter characterized by weather conditions broadly in line with seasonal averages, budbreak occurred at the usual time for our territory. The beginning of spring was rather rainy; these precipitations encouraged vigorous shoot growth and allowed the soils to build up adequate water reserves, which later proved valuable during the subsequent phases of the growing season. June, by contrast, was marked by dry conditions, with temperatures in the final days rising well above seasonal norms. In July, the weather remained dry but with temperatures significantly cooler than average: a situation that favored intense photosynthetic activity and led to a slight advance in veraison. August was decidedly hot, with a few heat spikes; however, the good ventilation in the vineyards prevented any negative impact on the grapes. From the last days of August and throughout September, significant rainfall alternating with dry and sunny days helped rebalance the ripening process, preserving the grapes from the risk of over-ripeness. The Vermentino harvest began on September 2.

    TASTING NOTES

Pale straw-yellow in color with greenish highlights, the nose reveals citrus aromas alongside notes of thyme, sage, and passion fruit. On the palate, the wine shows a full structure and pronounced salinity, well balanced by lively freshness. The finish is long and harmonious.

    THE 2024 VINTAGE

A mild winter and an exceptionally warm April led to an early budbreak. The cooler-than-average temperatures and persistent rainfall in May and June were followed by a scorching July and August, during which the extreme heat inhibited photosynthesis and delayed ripening. In early September, temperatures dropped suddenly below seasonal averages and were accompanied by frequent rainfalls, which did not compromise grape quality. The Vermentino harvest began on September 10th.

    TASTING NOTES

Pale straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, the nose is marked by hints of citrus and notes of sage, yellow peach and floral hints. Lively and vibrant, it is savoury and fruity on the palate. Long and harmonious finish

    THE 2023 VINTAGE

Winter was mild, with temperatures slightly higher than the seasonal averages. The first days of April were characterized by episodes of return of the cold that only marginally affected Vermentino. The rainfall of the first four months of the year was just under the statistical data of recent years. In May and June, the rainfall was extremely abundant, reaching two hundred millimeters of cumulative rain and twenty-eight days of rainfall out of sixty. After the first summer months, providentially the climate trend has had a radical change with high temperatures. The month of September had as protagonists above average temperatures and abundant Northern winds with almost total absence of rain. The harvest of Vermentino, which is our latest white variety, began on September 11. The high ventilation of our vineyards in the hottest hours of the afternoon allowed us to defend aromas and acidity.

    TECHNICAL SHEET

    THE 2022 VINTAGE

The growing season started at the usual time after a typical winter for our area, in which minimum temperatures dropped below zero for the first three months of the year. 2022 was characterized by a lack of rain: only 170 mm of precipitation was recorded, from winter to early spring season. In May, we recorded drought and higher temperatures than average. Then, we had scorching days in June, July and mid-August. This led to an early harvest of the white varieties. Vermentino, which is a late variety and well suited to similar climatic conditions, was harvested from September 5. Thanks to the high ventilation of our vineyards during the hottest hours of the afternoon, the aromas and, most of all, the acidity were perfectly preserved.
