    THE 2025 VINTAGE

A wine characterized by the typical fragrance of the Pinot Grigio variety with a classic Montalcino character.

A rainy early spring favoured shoot growth and provided the soils with good water reserves. The early summer months were dry with temperatures well above average. From the final days of August and into the first days of September, significant rainfall interspersed with dry, sunny days prevented excessive ripening. The Pinot Grigio harvest began on the nineteenth of August.

    THE 2024 VINTAGE

A wine characterized by the typical fragrance of the Pinot Grigio variety with a classic Montalcino character.

The mild winter and an extraordinarily warm April slightly advanced bud break. The rainy months of May and June, with below-average temperatures, were followed by July and August with temperatures so high that they inhibited photosynthesis and delayed ripening. In the early days of September, temperatures suddenly dropped below average and were accompanied by frequent rains, which did not affect the quality of the grapes still to be harvested. The harvest of Pinot Grigio began on August 21.

    THE 2023 VINTAGE

A wine characterized by the typical fragrance of the Pinot Grigio variety with a classic Montalcino character.

Winter was mild, with temperatures slightly higher than the seasonal averages. Episodes of cold return with some damage to budding characterized the first days of April. The rainfall of the first four months of the year was slightly lower than the statistical data of recent years. In the months of May and June, the rainfall was extremely abundant, reaching two hundred millimeters of cumulative rain and twenty-eight days of rain out of sixty. After the first summer months, providentially the climate has had a radical change with excellent sunshine and high temperatures. The Pinot Grigio harvest began in the last week of August.

    THE 2022 VINTAGE

A wine characterized by the typical fragrance of the Pinot Grigio variety with a classic Montalcino character.

The growing season started at the usual time after a typical winter for our area, in which minimum temperatures dropped below zero for the first three months of the year. 2022 was characterized by a lack of rain: only 170 mm of precipitation was recorded, from winter to early spring season. In May, we recorded drought and higher temperatures than average. Then, we had scorching days in June, July and mid-August. This led to an early harvest of the white varieties. Thanks to the high ventilation of our vineyards during the hottest hours of the afternoon, the aromas and, most of all, the acidity were perfectly preserved.

    TASTING NOTES

Pale straw yellow color. On the nose, intense and floral aromas are accompanied by notes of apple, peach and citrus fruits, in a fresh and floral bouquet. In the mouth it is pleasantly balanced, the acidity blends well with a good sapidity. Long persistence.
