THE 2012 VINTAGE
The 2012 vintage was characterised by a winter with little rainfall, but with a significant snowfall in February, which proved to be crucial in re-establishing the balance in the vineyard. The high temperatures recorded in the spring and, subsequently, in the summer months, together with the absence of rain, caused the harvest to be carried out about 15 days in advance compared to normal. The stabilization of temperatures in the weeks before the harvest, however, allowed the grapes to ripen optimally, with peaks of excellence.
TASTING NOTES
Bright straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Very fine perlage. Intense bouquet initially characterised by hints of candied citrus peel and toasted hazelnut which evolve into complex, balsamic aromas of star anise. An austere, elegant wine with great structure. It is characterised by an important acidity that gives it a rare freshness, and by a remarkable sapidity and persistence.

THE 2011 VINTAGE
The 2011 vintage was characterized by abundant snow during the winter followed by a spring with normal rainfall. The high temperatures recorded in May accelerated the growing cycle, thus anticipating the flowering and the fruit set of the vine. The summer temperatures within the norm and the rainfall in June, however, allowed an optimal maturation of the grapes which took place slightly earlier than usual. In general, the 2011 harvest gave excellent results, with peaks of excellence.

THE 2010 VINTAGE
The 2010 vintage was characterized by intense snowfall during the winter and a spring with abundant rainfall. The regular summer, with temperatures in the seasonal average, allowed the correct ripening of the grapes. Then, thanks to a very dry end of August and the good temperature variations between day and night, the harvest gave excellent results.
