    THE 2024 VINTAGE

The mild winter and an extraordinarily warm April caused budding to happen earlier than in previous years. The rainy months of May and June, which had below-average temperatures, were followed by a July and August with high temperatures capable of slowing down photosynthesis and delaying ripening. In the first few days of September, temperatures suddenly dropped below average and were accompanied by frequent rain. This unusual seasonal trend resulted in fresher, less alcoholic and less concentrated wines, but with surprisingly graceful tannins.

    TASTING NOTES

Balanced ruby-red wine, characterised by fresh and fruity notes. On the palate, it stands out for its soft structure well-balanced by a good acidity. Rich and persistent finish.

    THE 2023 VINTAGE

The winter was mild, with temperatures slightly above seasonal averages. The first few days of April were characterised by episodes of returning cold weather with some damage to budburst which only marginally affected the Sangiovese. The first four months of the year were slightly less rainy than the period averages. In the months of May and June, rainfall was extremely heavy, reaching two hundred millimetres of cumulative rain and twenty-eight rainy days out of sixty. Once the first summer months were over, providentially, the weather pattern underwent a radical change with excellent sunshine and high temperatures. The month of September was characterised by above-average temperatures and abundant northerly winds with an almost total absence of rain.

    TASTING NOTES

Balanced wine with a youthful ruby-red colour. Characterised by fresh and fruity notes. On the palate, it stands out for its soft structure well balanced by a good acidity. Rich and persistent finish.

    THE 2022 VINTAGE

After a rather harsh winter with little rainfall, the growing season began at the usual time. The lack of rain also continued through the spring and summer months, with above-average temperatures starting in May and sweltering days during the summer. The hot year until August, along with the rainfall and temperature ranges just before the harvest, resulted in well-preserved fruit and a fine tannic balance.

    TASTING NOTES

Balanced wine with a young ruby red colour. Characterised by fresh, floral hints of violets and cyclamen. In the mouth it is distinguished by a soft structure well balanced by good acidity. The finish is rich and persistent.

    THE 2019 VINTAGE

The extraordinarily cold weather in April and May caused a delay in the growing season, which was recuperated later, thanks to a warm and dry period. The sudden rise in temperature then favored the production of sparse and light grape bunches. August and September, sunny and without torrid temperatures, allowed for an optimal ripening of the grapes. A harvest which will go down in history, with grapes of high quality and an intense territorial personality which gave us wines with great structure and sapidity.

    TASTING NOTES

Balanced wine, characterized by fresh and fruity notes. In the mouth it is distinguished by its softness which is however well balanced by a good acidity. Rich and persistent finish on the palate.
