Banfi was among the seven historic houses that, claiming the Piedmont roots of traditional Italian sparkling wine, in 1990 gave the go-to project Spumante Metodo Classico in Piedmont. In 2008 was finally obtained the Alta Langa DOCG appellation.

Straw yellow color with brilliant golden hues, very fine and persistent perlage. Intense bouquet initially characterized by hints of candied citrus peel that then evolve into aromas of brioche, dried fruit and vanilla. An austere and elegant wine, which stands out for its distinct flavor and remarkable persistence.

A wine with great structure, suitable for pairing with fish dishes, both raw and cooked, with complex preparations and elegant but decisive flavors.
