Fresh, vibrant, daring and always territorial: that is how we interpret the Rosso di Montalcino.
On October 2 we will be in Palazzo delle Papesse, in Siena, for the fifth edition of Red Montalcino, The event, organized by the Consortium of Brunello di Montalcino Wine and dedicated to the denomination and its various expressions.
For the first time, the event leaves Montalcino and arrives in Siena, bringing the Rosso di Montalcino to a new context and offering an additional opportunity to tell about its identity, character and versatility.
At the center of the day will be Sangiovese di Montalcino, interpreted by the producers through different styles and sensibilities, but always linked to the territory from which it originates.
The program includes an afternoon walk-around tasting reserved for operators and the press, followed by an open evening with tastings at the producers’ stands. The evening will continue with the Enoteca Collettiva, a food corner and musical performances.
For Banfi, Red Montalcino represents an opportunity to share his interpretation of a wine capable of combining immediacy and depth, freshness and identity.
A different way of telling the story of Montalcino, through one of the most dynamic expressions of its Sangiovese.
