Whistleblowing

Banfi, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, has activated a reporting system aimed at preventing and countering illegal behavior or irregularities that may constitute violations of laws, national or European Union regulations. The initiative is aimed at safeguarding the public interest and the integrity of the company.

THE PORTAL

Through the portal, anyone can submit a report, choosing either to remain anonymous or to indicate their identity. In either case, strict confidentiality is guaranteed regarding the identity of the reporter, the person reported and anyone mentioned, as well as the content of the communication.
The system is designed not to record logs or technical data that could lead back to the identity of the reporter, should you wish to remain anonymous.

 

HOW TO REPORT

Once the report is submitted, the system generates a unique 16-digit identification code. This code is needed to consult the report and to communicate with the assigned manager.
Reports must be made in good faith and contain clear and circumstantial evidence so that the facts can be verified in a timely manner.
All reports are handled by the Supervisory Board and qualified personnel with respect for confidentiality to protect the whistleblower from any form of retaliation.
Within 7 days of transmission, the portal will confirm receipt.
Within a maximum of 3 months, further communication on the outcome of the investigation will be provided.

 

GUARANTEES FOR THE REPORTER

Banfi guarantees that no negative consequences or discrimination, direct or indirect, will affect those who submit a report in good faith.
Penalties are provided for those who violate the protective measures against the whistleblower.
Please note that any false reports made with malice or gross negligence, or with defamatory intent, may result in disciplinary consequences for the author.

 

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

All information provided will be treated confidentially. Any personal data contained in reports will be handled in accordance with current data protection regulations and according to the Policy GDPR adopted by the company with reference to the Whistleblowing procedure.
