For years, Castello Banfi - Il Borgo has collaborated with the SAFI ELIS Institute.
The SAFI ELIS Institute offers a five-year, state-of-the-art vocational education in the hotel and food and wine sector, alternating traditional teaching with work-based learning through activities that take place in companies that have an agreement with the Institute, including Castello Banfi - Il Borgo, Hotel de la Minerve, Hotel Palazzo Manfredi, Ristorante Il Pagliaccio, Ristorante Metamorfosi, Ristorante La Parolina and many others.
The SAFI ELIS Enogastronomic Institute, from school desks to gourmet restaurants
In order to facilitate professional, training and academic choices, the Institute has an internal Guidance and Placement Department to help students discover and enhance their professional and human skills and competences.
At the end of the five years of schooling, 40% of the SAFI ELIS students go on to university - enrolling in faculties such as chemistry, dietary sciences, education sciences, mathematical sciences, economics, law, communications - the remaining 60% enter the world of work, taking advantage of the many possibilities offered by the sector.
In order to enrol, it is necessary to attend the open school where it will be possible to obtain all the information on the educational offerings of the SAFI ELIS Institute, participate in a free orientation activity aimed at the elaboration of the future school choice and participate in a pastry lesson with a tasting of what has been prepared.
