The Hundreds White 2008 is in fact considered among the three best Tuscan wines that stand out this year for their excellent value for money, earning an impressive 88 points. The Hundreds Red 2008, a blend with Sangiovese that stands out for its intense bouquet characterised by fruity hints of berries and blackberries, was awarded 87 points.

Great success for the Cum Laude 2006, a perfect marriage of the four red grape varieties present in the Banfi vineyards, which is praised with 90 points and reviewed as a great wine that is not only extremely balanced and refined, but also has ample ageing potential.

Standing out among all the award-winning wines is the SummuS 2006prestigious label of the Super Tuscan which, with its harmonious and balanced blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, was awarded 91 points by Wine Spectator.

Also reviewed was the Florus Moscadello di Montalcino 2007 Late Harvest which, on the strength of the long winemaking tradition that links it to the Montalcino area, was awarded 90 points and an excellent rating by James Suclkling, who considered it very similar to an excellent Sauternes.
