Vinacce di uve Sangiovese provenienti da vigneti situati attorno al Castello di Poggio alle Mura, che gli studi di zonazione condotti in Azienda hanno messo in evidenza come particolarmente vocati e, per questo, utilizzati per la messa a dimora delle prime viti provenienti dagli studi di selezione clonale iniziati nel 1982.
It is obtained by distillation in a steam stream, with the classic system of double distillation of the fragrant grape marc of Brunello di Montalcino. These marc retain all the characteristics of the wine and the terroir from which they come, and having been subjected to long maceration, are rich in alcohol and perfumes.
This fine grappa of Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is then patiently aged in oak woods from Slavonia for 18 months. The quality of the raw material, combined with the meticulous traditional processing method, give the product unique characteristics.Â
Excellent at the end of a meal, we recommend serving this Grappa di Montalcino Riserva at a temperature of 17° in medium-sized crystal tulips. A perfect meditation goblet.
