Banfi publishes its 2024 Sustainability Report: ten years of commitment and vision

On the occasion of the Earth Day, Banfi presents its 10th Sustainability Report, reaffirming the company's deep-rooted commitment to the values of respect for the environment, people, and the community.

The year 2024 marked a turning point for Banfi, with the redefinition of corporate governance and a new strategic approach to markets. Each decision was guided by a focus on the well-being of the company and the protection of the territory.

Among the key achievements:

  • – ISO 45001 certification for Banfi Società Agricola Srl
  • – Equalitas certification for the Piedmont site and for several labels, including Poggio alle Mura, Vigna Marrucheto 2020, Poggio alle Mura Riserva, and Poggio all’Oro 2019

Strengthening of the ESG Committee, with the involvement of renowned academic experts

Update of the Strategic Sustainability Plan, in line with the latest European standards

Once again, this year the report received limited assurance in accordance with the ISAE 3000 Revised standard, conducted by PwC Business Services Srl.

An important milestone that confirms Banfi’s commitment to turning sustainability into tangible and measurable action.

The project on the territory, carried out in collaboration with the Research Unit for Viticulture of the CREA and the Edmund Mach Foundation of San Michele all'Adige, aims at assessing the phytosanitary, agronomic and oenological aspects of some promising genotypes obtained by crossing or selecting vine varieties that have shown high quality standards and/or characters of reduced sensitivity to the main fungal diseases.
