Avvinando Wine Fest

Banfi is presenton May 17 and 18 at the tenth edition of Avvinando Wine Fest, the wine event that brings the best of Italian winemaking to the heart of Palermo. The event takes place at Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, a venue rich in charm and culture, where tastings, discussions, and learning moments alternate throughout the day. It’s a valuable opportunity to engage with the public and professionals from the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, and to share our commitment to promoting wine as an expression of identity and togetherness. For the occasion, Banfi presents a selection of labels that embody the company’s vision—one that blends innovation with deep respect for the land.

The Territory

The project on the territory, carried out in collaboration with the Research Unit for Viticulture of the CREA and the Edmund Mach Foundation of San Michele all'Adige, aims at assessing the phytosanitary, agronomic and oenological aspects of some promising genotypes obtained by crossing or selecting vine varieties that have shown high quality standards and/or characters of reduced sensitivity to the main fungal diseases.
