Centine Rosso Toscana IGT has an unmistakable deep red colour with purple reflections and acool, delicate bouquet, with slightly spicy, floral notes, enriched with a hint of liquorice, tobacco and vanilla. Soft and full on the palate with notes of blackberry and ripe cherry; the structure is full bodied and has a well-balance acidity; the finale is intense and even appreciated by non-connoisseurs.
Centine Rosso is made using a blend of red varieties, for a wine rich in flavour and personality. The wine is fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with a short period in French oak barrels to enhance the flavour.
Centine Rosso should be served at a temperature of 16°-18° and it is also perfect to accompany simple aperitifs since it is extremely versatile. To make the most of this wine, serve it with bold, flavoursome pasta dishes, like pici with a wild boar ragu, made according to Tuscan traditions or meat dishes- especially grilled.
As well as this traditional Italian red, we have another exceptional red: Centine Varietale, which is also perfect for both a special evening and everyday lunches. Centine Varietale is made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese grapes, the best traditional Tuscan and international winemaking varieties, which ripen in August and September, after making the most of the sun's warm rays.
Centine Bianco stands out for its immediate crispness and for the excellent versatility when it comes to serving ideas. It is straw yellow in colour with hints of green and a bouquet reminiscent of Sicilian orange groves, given its notes of citrus and white fruit. It is very soft on the palate, with a hint of acidity and an unmistakable full, lengthy finish.
Centine Bianco is made from Chardonnay and Vermentino grapes. It is fermented in steel vats at controlled temperature.
Centine Bianco can be paired with extreme simplicity, given its excellent versatility, even with simple, everyday fare, thanks to its great structure and light, crisp flavour. It is perfect above all when served with fish dishes - starters or main courses-making it the ideal accompaniment for a steamed fish steak or octopus with potatoes. Another great pairing is with a cold pasta salad, one of the most popular dishes for a summertime dinner with friends. Recommended to serve chilled (10°-12°)in a large, tall goblet.
Centine Rosè is a wine with an elegant colour and well-balanced flavour that can be served on any occasion. It is a soft pink with hints of gold and its bouquet has notes that are typical of Sangiovese, red berries and cherry in particular. On the palate, it is well structured, balanced, and has a persistent savoury finish, thanks to its characteristic minerality.
Centine Rosé is made with Sangiovese and Merlotgrapes. The Sangiovese and Merlot are fermented separately in steel vats at controlled temperature, then refined in steel tanks on the lees for at least two months.
Centine Rosè is a must-have in any connoisseur's collection because it is able to enhance any dish, astounding guests with its elegant balance of flavours.
