(Montalcino, January 28th 2009) – Castello Banfi in its continuous research for a perfect balance between the many years’ experience and the constant perseverance for innovation presents its latest project, the “Centine Style”. The historical Castello Banfi label becomes, therefore, a complete product range which includes, besides the classical Red and the elegant Rosé, a fresh and balanced White, the last born. The respect for tradition and the enhancement of a typical territory, develop into a philosophy, a style, which is renovated in a classic and, at the same time, contemporary look, shown off by this new proposal.
Three wines, three different interpretations, three versatile and Tuscan products, deeply rooted in the Montalcinoterroirand expression of the unique Banfi “style”. Red Centine is a fruity wine, young but of a good structure, where Sangiovese, the emblematic grape variety of the best Tuscan tradition, is combined with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Same grape varieties for Centine Rosé, whose great aromatic expression and freshness are guaranteed by the innovative Stelvin closure. Finally the last born, White Centine, a blend of three international grape varieties which, in Tuscany, have found their perfect habitat: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, a wide variety combination which gives it structure, complexity and a rich aromatic expression.
